I have to 'interview' potential 'flatmates' in a bit. I have never done this before, nor had this done to me. My intention was to say 'here is the bedroom, here is the kitchen..I need quiet during the day when I'm asleep.' etc, and leave it at that, but it has been suggested that I need an in-depth questionnaire right down to 'do you squeeze the toothpaste from the end or the middle?'
What important things should I really ask? Can you really tell if someone is a psycho by looking at them? Am I right to have not bothered to reply to emails I considered unconvincing (I am 26-year-old Englishman.')?
Seriously, I am quite (perhaps too) laid-back and easy going, and successfully shared with Carine for five years with not one single issue, but this has probably spoilt me into thinking living with someone is dead easy.
