Well okay so my face is mashed up, but hey, I probably still look better than Sophie Ellis Bextor. Just a thought.
I'm wondering how I'm supposed to recognise signs of concussion and stuff when it's actually me that has the head injury. I have slept loads and been hot and cold and sickly. But then most Sundays are like that!
I'm getting used to seeing out of my left eye though, that's very strange to me. The trouble is I can't do the traditional sunglasses trick with the eye. I threw my sunglasses out on Saturday because the arm was broken. I think the hat idea is a good one. And the fringe. Or a combination of both.

A friend of mine thinks life is shit. No it isn't, as I said. There are good bits and there are bad bits, and we all have both types. Trust me and keep going.

My dentist thinks I have broken a bone somewhere. He is probably right, I think. I'm not bloody well sitting in A&E though. If I unexpectedly drop dead you can all say "well we did tell you" in a smug manner. Please remember I want Dark Mavis at my funeral, cheers.
I have to go to work tomorrow. I'm still thinking of amusing answers to the "What happened to you?" question. I think I shall swing between offended, blase and mysterious. Or perhaps pretend I don't know what the hell they're talking about. Ha ha.

Anyway. Wyclef Jean appears to have covered Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here." Is nothing sacred? Seeing as other journallers have occasionally posted lyrics that they like I thought I would give you my other favourite bit of Pink Floyd. It seems very appropriate today.

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun
Shine on you crazy diamond
Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky
Shine on you crazy diamond
You were caught in the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze
Come on you target for far away laughter,
Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!

You reached for the secret too soon,
you cried for the moon
Shine on you crazy diamond
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light
Shine on you crazy diamond
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision
Rode on the steel breeze
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!
