After yesterday's ennui I have realised that I want to be a lion tamer!

I have been left In Charge today. I am the Boss. And I genuinely have very little work to do. Much surfing will be done I suspect.
Oddly I found someone yesterday while randomly surfing blogs who has exactly the same eyesight weirdness that I do, only he is a left dominant and I am right. We're very special people - if only to opticians!

Nuts.
Being Boss means I have to lock up and be out last. Well actually I shall lock the front doors and make stragglers go out the back way! This also means I have to go out the back way and sod's law says I will miss the bus during the extra minute that takes.

I am now not allowed to slag Carine's new lurve off purely on the basis of him being a man! I agreed that okay, some men were very nice, in fact some of my best friends are, indeed, men. And I have no issue with them being men, my problem is relationships with whatever gender!

And she said something about expecting me to be there to support her when it came crashing down. Ouch ouch. Nooo! I'm supposed to be the cynical pessimistic bitch!

And although I am very happy - I am going to use this emoticon out of sheer bloody mindedness :)

Ooh my Dad's coming to see me in November. He has a conference on the 23rd and will be staying here and going for drinkies (of course!) I had a major fluff when I checked the diary, but he's staying on the Thursday, not the Friday, which is SB (I think? It's four weeks away anyway.)

I think I am reaching critical mass in terms of exhaustion. I got in tonight at ten past nine and could hardly keep my eyes open. I do get a reasonable amount of sleep, but I'm either asleep or doing something. Perhaps general 'rest' may be something to aim for. But not this week......
